Turn the number you have into a barcode that is ready for your packaging. The tool calculates the check digit and the barcode downloads at true size.
Which barcode?
Your barcode
Your barcode appears here once you enter the number.
The tool does not issue numbers. Numbers for products sold in shops come from GS1 in your country.
Good to know
Before you print
Where do I get the number?
For products sold in shops, barcode numbers are issued to your company by GS1 in your country (GS1 Türkiye in Türkiye). This tool does not issue numbers; it turns the number you have into a print-ready barcode. For Code 128 used in your own warehouse, you choose the number yourself.
Which colours can I print in?
Scanners read with red light. Bars can be black, dark blue or dark green; the background can be white, yellow or orange. Red and orange bars, and blue and green backgrounds, do not scan. On metallic and transparent packaging, leave a white panel behind the bars.
How small can it go?
EAN and UPC barcodes can be reduced to 80% of the standard size; smaller than that may not scan. Cutting the height also makes scanning harder. The empty space on both sides is part of the barcode; keep text and images out of it.
