Good to know
Before you print
Does the code expire?
No. The code carries the information itself; there is no service in between, so it cannot be switched off and nobody charges for it. A web address code works for as long as the address does.
Can I change it later?
No, a printed code cannot be changed. If the address may change, point the code to a permanent address on your own site; you can change the page that address opens whenever you like.
How large should I print it?
For work scanned at arm's length (menus, business cards, packaging), do not go below the minimum size the tool gives. On posters and signs read from a distance, the code should be about a tenth of the reading distance wide. Do not trim the empty margin around the code.
