Is your brand ready?
Tick twelve items and see what your brand has ready and what is missing.
What do you have?
Logo and identity
You have your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF)
Your logo has separate versions for dark and light backgrounds
There is a simplified version or icon for small sizes (profile picture, site icon)
Your brand colour codes are defined (CMYK or Pantone for print, HEX for screen)
Your typefaces are defined
You have brand guidelines that put all of this in writing
Your business cards and stationery share the same identity
Your packaging, labels or menu use your current logo and colours
Your signage, vehicle and trade fair graphics share the same identity

Good to know
How do you fill the gaps?
Logo files come first
Without a vector file and colour codes, nothing else can be prepared properly. If all you have is a PNG or JPG, the logo needs to be redrawn as a vector.
You do not need everything at once
Mark the items that do not fit your business as "Not needed". Packaging, signage or a website can be added as the need arises; what matters is that each addition follows the same identity.
When identity and website are planned together
The logo, colours and typefaces are chosen with the screen in mind from the start, so nothing has to be adapted again for the website.
